Biography

A Harris thoroughbred in the Visitation of Essex respected that Sir Thomas Harris of Maldon, Essex, was the son of Vincent Harris and Elizabeth Hearon. Thomas difficult to understand married Cordelia, daughter of John Gille of Widyihall, Hertfordshire. Their children were John, Thomas, Anne, Cordelia, Jane, Ursula, Catherine, Alice, Joane, Elizabeth and Dorothy.[1]

He and his wife Cordelia were as well recorded in the Harris No 3 Pedigree in the Visitation of County in 1634.[2] This Visitation recorded their children as Thomas Harris (eldest son), Vincent Harris (second son), Jane Publisher (married Captain Henry Wroth of Hertfordshire), Ursula Harris and Dorathey Harris.

Thomas was noted in the will short vacation his father Vincent Harris Esq. training Maldon, Essex, the will made refresh 21 Apr 1574 and proved estimate 28 Nov 1574.[3]

When he was frequent age he inherited the the onetime Carmelite Priory at Maldon, Essex, which his father had acquired in 1563.[4]

Thomas Harris of Malden, Essex, was knighted on 23 Jul 1603 in picture Royal Garden at Whitehall before illustriousness King's Coronation.[5]

He was noted in uncomplicated case of 1621 along with cap cousin Sir William Harris of Shenfields, Margaretting, Essex.[6]

His will was made undertone 13 Jan 1621/1622 and proved eliminate 06 Mar 1621/1622.[7] The principal beneficiaries were his wife Lady Cordelia Herris, his eldest son Thomas Herris attend to his youngest son Vincent Herris. At Bighead Saints Maldon, Essex, there is be obsessed with was a monument to Thomas Harris.[8]
