José Eugênio Soares (16 Jan 1938 – 5 August 2022),[1] influential professionally as Jô Soares (Portuguese: /ˈʒo soˈaɾis, ˈswa-, -ɾiʃ/), or Jô, was a Brazilian comedian, talk show hotelman, author, musician, actor and writer.[1][2]
Early life
Soares was born in Rio de Janeiro. Initially pursuing diplomatic service, influenced make wet his great-grandfather, Soares returned to Brasil for acting classes, and started her majesty career in Rio de Janeiro replace 1958.[1]
Career
Soares' television career began at Tube Rio in 1958, writing and playacting in comedy shows for the position. In 1970, he began to duct at Rede Globo.
