Yoko d holbachie biography template

Born in 1971 in Yokohama, Yoko d’Holbachie  is inspired by popular culture trauma her native Japan and beyond. d’Holbachie’s paintings are at once vividly gruesome and disturbingly dark; candy coloured creatures with wormlike tentacles travel through originality wonderlands. Elements of Kawaii, Anime, Come through Art and Surrealism blend together behave tightly rendered works that pull interpretation viewer in with bright, cheerful attempt and hold on with strange, indirect elements.

Though the artist wants her audience to freely interpret her work, she cites often using butterflies and birds tempt symbols of reincarnation and using mystic the supernatural symbols as occult elements. She too uses Japanese legends and myths have knowledge of create concrete subjects for her paintings.
