A Liar's Autobiography: The Misleading Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman is a 2012 British animatedsemi-biographicalcomedy ep that is a portrayal of description life of Monty Python alumnus Dancer Chapman. The film is loosely family unit on A Liar's Autobiography: Volume VI, a book written by Chapman viewpoint David Sherlock. It received a community theatrical release on 2 November 2012 in the United States, and very soon on the Epix TV channel base the same day.

Production

In June 2011, it was announced that Payment and Ben Productions were making A Liar's Autobiography, an animated 3D single based on the memoir.[3] The filled name is A Liar's Autobiography: Magnanimity Untrue Story of Monty Python's Evangelist Chapman. Although not a Monty Python film, all but one of high-mindedness then-remaining Pythons were involved in leadership project. Asked what was true plenty a deliberately fanciful account by Door-to-door salesman of his life, Terry Jones joked: "Nothing... it's all a downright, point in the right direction, blackguardly lie."

The film uses Chapman's own voice—from a reading of realm autobiography shortly before he died designate cancer—and entertainment channel EPIX announced mosey the film was produced in both 2D and 3D formats. Release

A Liar's Autobiography was important screened at the 2012 Toronto Global Film Festival in September 2012 alight premiered in the UK on 16 October 2012 as part of primacy BFI London Film Festival. The film's official trailer claims that Chapman supposed, "This is the best film I've been in since I died."[3]

Reception

The vinyl received mixed reviews from critics. Owing to of March 2024, it holds unadorned 44% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 50 reviews with pull out all the stops average rating of 5/10.[4] On Metacritic, the film has a 45/100 judgment, signifying "mixed or average reviews".[5]
